This was the first game jam I've completed and the game turned out pretty bad lol! It was a great learning experience and I look forward to competing in more in the future.

The font was created by: Jakob Fischer (3rd party)
I have not yet implemented sound yet. I am not happy with it and am having a steep learning curve with Adobe Audition.

Install instructions
Step 1) Download the ZIP file.
Step 2) Unzip the file.
Step 3) Double click the Galactic Hero.exe file.

Awesome game it reminds me of a game i recently published called Asteroid Destroyer. Really enjoyed the laser deflectors!
Thanks, I let my roommate play it at he was just spamming the shoot button so I decided it should punish a little bit to spam! lol
If you might have played my game ( I also submitted my game for this game jam), I made enemy sound effects with my mouth XD
Honestly, The game is really good for a beginner. Just add some sound effects and bg music if possible :)
Thank you. I’ll add some sounds when I get off work and try to fix some bugs and put in a controls screen. It’s pretty bad but I learned a lot.
It's not bad, encourage yourself by saying it a good game, and then your result will be more amazing. Keep working :)
